Coca Cola and Nestle - Enviga - Green Tea

Can a drink actually help you *lose* calories?! It seems it can with Enviga -- a new energy drink from Coca Cola and Nestle.

Launched under the Coke brand, Enviga is a carbonated green tea beverage that claims to burn as many as 100 calories a day just from drinking three 12-ounce cans. The negative calorie effect (thermogenesis) of Enviga happens a green tea extract (epigallocatechin gallate) speeds up metabolism when combined with caffeine.

As of this writing, this is already available in a few places in the US. The general release will be January 2007. This new Nestea energy drink from Coke will come in green tea, berry and peach flavors. It will be sold in slim 12-ounce cans at about $1.50 each.
